A Day Of Hope Foundation, Inc.             Regenerating our Communities

Romans 15:13
13May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Mission

The mission of A Day of Hope 2011 outreach is to bring Hope to the people in our community by connecting them with available resources to address their spiritual, emotional and physical needs.  Most importantly, we will encourage our guests to find a home & family with one of our Connection Church partners that will minister to them well beyond the day of the event.

Guiding Principles

To work alongside our Connection Church partners on follow up discipleship and church growth resulting from the guest contacts made at the A Day of Hope outreaches.

To work alongside our Non-profit Community Resource partners to encourage them, support them and pool resources as they pursue or launch the vision God has given them.

To actively seek areas of opportunity to impact our community throughout the year that are typically overlooked by the church.

To plan and prepare for the next years A Day of Hope outreach to surpass the previous year through the recruitment of additional Connection Church partners, non-profit partners and team leadership in addition to the expansion of fundraising efforts

To be an encouraging example of how God will honor the ministry (service, music, expression, speaking, or other) of those who put their trust in Him as they step out in faith to what He has called them and gifted them to do.

To ultimately establish and manage a facility in which non-profit community service organizations, ministry resource partners, church groups and faith based groups may launch or pursue their vision on a cost share basis.  Along with our Connection Church Partners, we will collectively minister to and serve the community to address their spiritual, emotional and physical needs both at the A Day of Hope Community Center as well as off site outreach programs.

Our Beliefs

ABOUT GOD
God is the one and only true God, yet He exists in three persons: God the
Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is the Creator, so
everything belongs to Him and is under His control. God is holy, so He is
righteous, majestic, and loving. God is all knowing and purposeful, so He’s
at work to bring about His will. No person, thing, or idea compares to God.

ABOUT THE SCRIPTURES
God reveals Himself to us through the Bible, and it is 100% accurate, reliable,
and authoritative.

ABOUT PEOPLE
People are made in God’s image and for His pleasure. But everybody falls
short of God’s intention, or ideal, for people. In other words, everyone has
sinned. As a result, we are all separated from Him, even though He wants
an intimate relationship with each of us.

ABOUT SALVATION
That’s why Jesus—God’s Son—came and lived on this earth, died, and
rose again. God offers His free gift of salvation to all who believe in Jesus
and accept Him as Savior—the only way to be forgiven and reconciled to
God. Anyone who accepts this gift is adopted as a son or daughter into
God’s family and will live with Him forever in heaven.

Faith and Deeds

James 2:14-26
14What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds."
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do.
